Description

Our client is on the lookout for an IT Systems Administrator to join their growing team in Malta.

Your Responsibilities:

Maintain and troubleshoot server infrastructure in mixed physical and virtual environments, including Data Centre operations.

Administer the internal systems, encompassing Active Directory, email, backend servers, and web servers.

Lead on assigned technology stacks and support others as needed.

Deliver support services within established SLAs and service management procedures.

Provide user support, investigate issues, and resolve problems as required.

Monitor system events for potential issues and ensure optimal performance.

Perform and oversee backup and restore operations.

Test and deploy server and IT system patches per patch management procedures.

Own and complete project tasks timely and to the expected quality standards.

Coordinate with suppliers and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.

Maintain accurate Configuration Management Database and technical documentation.

Assist in developing reports on security incidents, performance, and service quality.

Provide administrative and housekeeping support.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience working in a similar role.

Exposure to Office 365 and/or Windows

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Fluency in English

Must be already based in MaltaEducation and Experience

Diploma or Degree in an IT-related fieldBenefits
