- Handling the processing of bank transfers on behalf of clients to the respective suppliers and other beneficiaries;
- Liaising with banks to ensure that the executed transfers and payments are being processed;
- Assisting members of the client payroll team in preparing and executing payroll for multiple clients including collecting data from timesheets and rosters and inputting data on payroll software;
- Liaising with clients' request and queries;
- Performing the distribution of wages through issuance of cheques or direct transfers to employees' bank accounts;
- Assisting clients with the onboarding and offboarding process of their employees including submission of employee information to JobsPlus;
- Ensuring that client employee records are kept up to date and in line with employment and data protection regulations;
- Assisting in filing single work permit applications;
- General administrative work of the payroll team, and other duties emanating from the role. Skillsets and Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, and any payroll and/or HR related qualifications would be considered an asset;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Maltese Employment law and HR systems such as BambooHR, Indigo and the like, would be considered an asset
- Ability to work as part of a team and assist others
- Ability to take own initiative Education & Experience An Alevel standard of education
