    Description

    XVI Suites is currently looking to recruit an experienced Pastry Chef de Partie to join their team on a full-time basis.

    The role includes the following duties and responsibilities, but is not limited to:

    • Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes within the speciality section
    • Possess knowledge in creating & preparing cakes, desserts, pastries, chocolates, pies, brunch/ breakfast & other baked goods by following traditional & modern recipes
    • Having the initiative to research and present new creative recipes weekly
    • Assisting in different areas in the kitchen when required
    • Assist with stock takes, and keep sections organized and clean at all times
    • Monitor portion control as well as waste control
    • Adhere to health & safety regulations along with food hygiene practices at all times.

      Requirements:
      • Ability to read, write and speak English
      • Minimum 1-3 years experience as Pastry Chef de Partie or similar position within a hotel and/or restaurant
      • Ability to multitask and to work in a fast-paced environment
      • Must be flexible and team player
