- Drafting and revising safety policies and procedures.
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and implementing preventive measures.
- Identifying and mitigating occupational hazards.
- Conducting regular safety inspections to identify and rectify unsafe practices.
- Developing and enforcing safety checklists to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Supervising the provision and utilisation of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Providing training and resources to uphold a safe working environment.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: 0630hrs - 1500hrs
Requirements - Familiarity with the Occupational Health and Safety Authority Act XXVII of 2000.
- Proficiency in English with effective communication capabilities.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Leadership qualities and strong interpersonal skills.
- Competency in MS Office Suite and other management software.Education and Experience
- Possession of OHS certifications such as NEBOSH or a Higher Diploma would be advantageous.Benefits
