About Almed Dardha:
I have worked in fast-paced kitchen environments where I learned various cooking techniques and prepared different types of dishes. I am confident that my experience has prepared me to meet the high demands of your customers and consistently deliver attractive and delicious food.
Currently, I am working at Philip Agius & Sons in Malta as a Construction Site Labourer. In this role, I read and understand plans, dig holes and trenches, and ensure safety on the construction site by controlling traffic.
Previously, in 2020, I worked at Cafe Caravaggio in Malta as an Italian Chef. My responsibilities included efficiently utilizing kitchen equipment, inspecting food preparations for quality and quantity, and serving cooked food items in appropriate portions.
In 2019, I worked as an Italian Chef at Drymades Bungalows in Albania. During this time, I specialized in cooking seafood, communicated menu changes and specials to the waitstaff, and made sure all food preparations met customer satisfaction, including accommodating special dietary concerns.
Prior to that, in 2018, I worked at Restaurant Goldhaus in Germany as an Italian Chef. My duties involved preparing meat, pasta, fish, and salad dishes to order, maintaining cleanliness in all kitchen areas, and assisting the kitchen staff with cleaning, storing, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
In 2017, I worked as a Pizza Chef at Pizzeria Restaurant Gostivari in Albania. I focused on developing a 10-minute turnaround time per pizza from order to service, ensuring exceptional quality standards and uniformity, and maintaining a spotlessly clean kitchen and working area for optimal health and hygiene standards.
During 2016, I held the position of an Italian Chef at Hotel SYLA in Albania. I was responsible for preparing, cooking, and serving food while maintaining high-quality standards for food preparation and presentation.
In 2015, I was both the owner and Pizza Chef at Pizza Kaba in Albania. My responsibilities included processing transactions, fostering a positive working environment, and safely operating pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment.
Lastly, in 2014, I worked as a Head Chef at Hotel Albatros in Albania. I upheld company procedures, executed daily and weekly tasks such as temperature checks and food labeling, assisted with deliveries and inventory management, and reported any damaged goods or discrepancies.
I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Tourism from the University "Fan S. Noli" as part of my educational journey. Building upon this, I continued my studies and successfully completed a Master of Business Administration at the Albanian University. During my time at university, I also worked part-time, where I discovered my passion for cooking. This experience ignited a strong interest in the culinary arts, and since then, I have been dedicated to exploring and honing my skills in the kitchen.
