    Description
    Private Equity Investments company is looking for an Accountant who would join to their growing team in Malta.


    Responsibilities:

    • Posting and processing of purchase invoices and updating accounts payable
    • Setting up of weekly payment runs
    • Raise sales invoices and update accounts receivable
    • Follow up on overdue invoices and ensure timely settlement
    • Issue intercompany recharge invoices and monthly reconciliation of intercompany balances
    • Bank reconciliations
    • Reviewing Expense claims and credit card expenses and booking these into the system
    • Preparation of VAT returns
    • Assisting the Financial Controllers with the preparation of the monthly Management Accounts and Annual, Financial Statements
    • Weekly cashflow forecasting
    • Other adhoc general and finance matters

    Skill-sets and requirements:

    • Recently completed or in the final stages of acquiring a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or obtained a BSc/BComm in accounting, finance or relevant field
    • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize efficiently
    • Selfmotivated with highperformance standards, able to work independently and as a part of a team
    • Great attention to detail
    • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
    • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
