Description

Responsibilities:

Reviewing weekly payment runs, bank reconciliations, sales invoices, payroll journals, and upload files. Monthly balancing of reconciliations.
Reviewing month-end inventory and processing in the accounting system.
Preparation of depreciation, accruals, and prepayments journals.
Communication with Hotel and Front Office Managers.
Collaboration with peers in overseas purchasing and HR departments.
Liaising with auditors during year-end audits.
Team management, including assisting the team with queries and ensuring deadlines are met.
Conducting other reporting and reconciliations as necessary to provide accurate figures.

Requirements:

ACCA or University Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
3+ years of experience in a similar role (experience in hospitality considered an asset).
Strong communication and collaboration skills, both within the office and internationally.
Effective team management abilities Organized and adept at prioritizing workload and delegating tasks.
Ability to thrive under pressure and meet set timeframes.
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office software, especially Excel.
Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to travel once or twice per year.
