- Assisting in the planning and execution of statutory audits under the supervision of audit seniors.
- Perform audit procedures, including verifying the accuracy of financial statements and identifying areas of audit risk
- Reviewing transactions, documents, records, reports and methods for accuracy and completeness.
- Preparing adequate audit working papers in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other reports as required.
- Liaising with external advisors as needed.
- Assisting in the preparation of tax computations and tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations
- Meeting work plan specifications and deadlines.
- Performing other duties as may be assigned.
- Able to work within a team and with other departments in the company.
Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of local work experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient with MS office applications, especially Excel
- The ability to work on own initiative, prioritize own work and meet deadlinesEducation and Experience
- In possession of a University degree in accounting or actively studying ACCA
