    Description
    We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Purchasing and Logistics Administrator to join our team.

    In this role, you will be responsible for managing the purchasing and logistics functions of our company, ensuring that all materials and supplies are procured and delivered efficiently and cost-effectively.

    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong understanding of supply chain management.


    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and costeffective procurement of materials and supplies
    • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary items to avoid stock shortages
    • Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the company
    • Coordinate and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of goods
    • Manage and maintain accurate records of all purchasing and logistics activities
    • Collaborate with other departments to determine purchasing needs and develop procurement strategies
    • Identify and implement costsaving initiatives within the supply chain
    • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions
    • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers or shipments in a timely manner

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in purchasing and logistics, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
    • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of SAP B1 preferred.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fastpaced environment
    • Attention to detail and strong problemsolving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Knowledge of import/export regulations and procedures is a plus
