- Determining the appropriate allocation of resources across the organization whilst overseeing such activities on a constant basis
- Preparing monthly management accounts including the required reconciliation statements, accruals and prepayments whilst presenting this to the management on a monthly basis
- Gathering a detailed understanding of the operational and commercial aspects of the business and having the ability to interpret financial results and identify areas of concern and investigate accordingly
- Processing of payroll including any related filings with the relevant authorities
- Submission of VAT and tax returns
- Liaising with auditors with regards to the annual audit
- Overseeing the overall operation of the finance department
- Preparation of an annual budget and forecasts as required
- Any other duty which may be required from time to time from the management
Skill-sets and Requirements - Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines
- Possess excellent intrapersonal and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office toolsEducation & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant holding a local warrant
