    Description

    A well-established client, a local media news organisation is searching for a Corporate Sales & Business Development Executive to join their team. Responsibilities include:

  • Pitching commercial and business media proposals to our large portfolio of clients and to potential new clients through cold calling and virtual meetings
  • Client relationship building, consolidating existing business relationships and nurturing new one
  • Negotiating and closing leads on large packages in a successful and professional manner, always keeping our clients' interests at heart
  • Monitoring the local market as well as social media, and staying up-to-date with current affairs to continue widening our extensive client base through business development undertakings
  • Be continuously proactive on a business development front, looking out for opportunities for growth and consolidation on a daily basis

    A remuneration package of €40,000+ is rewarded through the advertised gross basic salary, a 4-tier commission structure, monthly target bonuses, and annual performance bonuses, once monthly and annual targets are reached.
    Requirements
  • Excellent communication in both Maltese AND English
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and sharp negotiation skills
  • Multi-tasking skills, focused, and agile to carry out tasks in a swift manner
  • Candidates need to follow the local media industry and be active in social media, including LinkedIn and Facebook
  • Candidates must be structured, resilient and ambitious
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel and OutlookEducation and Experience
  • A' Level Standard of Education as a minimum
