Main Duties:

• Perform all the operational simulations of the allocation of resources and make proposals for better optimization of those resources
• Proper allocations of buses to services, ensuring the proper allocation from a maintenance point of view
• Ensure that drivers are being allocated to duties within the safety parameters defined by the company
• Use the scheduling and allocating program (GOAL) and/or other similar technical tools
• Study the transport network, and group the routes by areas/ geographical areas
• Issue regular reports including specific KPIs to study the detailed performance of individual or groups of routes at different times of the day, week and year
• Work closely with the various Managers to be able to implement quick solutions where necessary to improve route efficiency
• Assist in the planning team with the finalisation process for the publishing of duty boards
• Keep ticketing, topology, GTFS, bus stops and timetables information updated
• Prepare reports that are necessary in the scope of their competencies, and that are requested by the immediate Superior
• Manage the service and information received in the most efficient, confidential and effective way
• Attend and solve issues that arise throughout the day, according to the level of responsibility
• Ensure compliance and security policies, risk prevention, data protection, quality and environment policies are kept

What skills do you need?

• Tertiary level of education preferably in Statistics and/or Mathematics
• Previous experience in Data Analysis is required
• Knowledge of IT software tools
• Qualification related to Passenger Transport and knowledge of the routes and public transport network would be considered an asset
• Knowledge in Transport Management will be considered an asset
• Highly organised, Analytical, Problem-solving skills and result-oriented with methodical skills
• Able to communicate effectively and to meet deadlines
• Able to work on own initiative
