Accounts Associate - Malta - SpotOn Connections
Description
Responsibilities:
• Assisting in all book-keeping functions including bank reconciliations, posting of invoices and maintaining all account for receivables/payables up to Trial balance;
• Preparing and processing payments in a timely manner;
• Assisting in the monthly client billing process/sending out invoices to clients;
• Assisting in preparation of VAT returns;
• Liaising with Auditors, Tax and VAT Department and MBR, necessary and as directed by the Head of Dept;
• Filing of documents.
Requirements:
• An Advanced Level in Accounting is required;
• Previous experience in an accounting role would be considered an asset;
• Knowledge of sage would be considered an asset;
• Excellent ability to communicate in English, both verbally and written;
• A proven ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with external and internal departments ensuring lines of communication remain open;
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team;
• Competent in the use of standard office tools including Microsoft Office and other;
• Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision
