- Perform frequency-based Preventive Maintenance and rectify any issues found.
- Diagnose breakdown causes and repair.
- Perform equipment installations and vehicles to regulatory standards.
- Involved in or familiar with any project plans for the installation of new equipment.
- Modify and Improve Equipment, Plant and Processes.
- Calibrate instrumentation including Weighing systems, Flow control, Level indicators.
- Contribute to the development of safe systems of work ensuring that Company Health and Safety Standards are complied with, and safe working practices are always adopted.
- Provide technical advice, training support and information to departmental managers, supervisors and staff.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS - Must have a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
- Good command of Maltese and English is mandatory.
- Advanced knowledge of maintenance processes and standards in the fields.
- A valid driving license.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent planning skills.
- Use workers and resources in the most effective manner.
- Provide quick responses to maintenance issues.
- Identify problems and help improve processes.
- Use software to generate reports and schedules.
- Ensure that company deadlines are met.
EDUCATION
Bachelor of Engineering (Honours in Mechanical Engineering).
WORKING TIME
Monday to Friday, from 07:00 till 16:00 with one hour break.
