Software Engineer - Any, Malta - PTL Limited

An exciting opportunity has opened up for enthusiastic individuals to become part of PTL Ltd as a Software Engineer. This role is based in Malta and involves reporting to the Head of Software Engineering and Business Applications. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated Software Development team responsible for creating and maintaining customized solutions and internal products.

The Role:

The Software Engineer will play a key role in providing strategic technical guidance and designing technical solutions. They will be responsible for developing and unit-testing solutions with a strong technical foundation and software engineering expertise. Additionally, they will collaborate with various teams including customer service, account management, business development, and services.

The chosen candidate will actively contribute to enhancing PTL's existing products based on technical roadmaps, explore innovative technologies to boost efficiency and quality, offer analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting for advanced support queries, and deliver high-performance optimized code.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should be a dedicated technology enthusiast with a knack for innovation and teamwork. A preferred qualification includes a degree in Computer Science (MQF level 6 or higher) or similar, along with at least two years of experience in .NET framework, .NET Core, C#, ASP .NET, MVC 5 and above, ASP Web Forms, VB .NET, ADO .NET, Entity Framework, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, React, HTML, CSS, Web APIs (REST and SOAP), GIT, and ANSI SQL. Strong problem-solving skills, a passion for technical challenges, self-motivation, multitasking abilities, willingness to work on-site at client locations, and Agile development experience are essential.
